A few weeks ago, Jessica Campbell, Max Hasson, and I rambled over the Torment-Forbidden Traverse. We had an absolute blast, enjoying good friendship and climbing partnership forged over 10 years of living the climbing life together. This was a family outing. We found the traverse deserted as a stormy forecast kept the masses away. Luckily, the weather held, and created a wonderful opportunity to showcase the beauty of the North Cascades.
